custom Bishoujo Firestar by ~TeenTitans4Evr
This person took a Ms. Marvel Bishoujou figure and retooled it to be Firestar. This is so amazing.

I apologize in advance that this may be harsh, but I felt it was necessary to share my concerns.
Frankly, I was appalled at some of the comments regarding the Captain America photoset that’s been making the rounds today. Some users seemed to assume that everyone who expressed their objections to the attitudes on display in the photoset are part of some social justice movement and that those who had expressed their concerns about it were some how wrong for being made uncomfortable by the demeaning language used in the photoset.
I consider myself to be pretty much the opposite of a SJW, having never ever participated in the movement in any capacity. I try to avoid this stuff like the plague, because I find most of it to be generally distasteful. However, this photoset has appeared on my dashboard half a dozen times today, and as much as I am loathe to speak up, it’s time.
I found the comments added to these images offensive because of how close they hit home in my personal life. It’s not a social justice cause for me, it’s something personal that effects my family. I grew up hearing people use phrases like that to demean one of my family members in an attempt to coddle him when he frankly wanted to show his independence and live his life on his own. I heard adults do it. I heard children to it. Most people were well meaning when they did it, but that didn’t make it any less hurtful or somehow okay. Coddling someone who doesn’t need it is patronizing and offensive. You wouldn’t want someone to do it to you, so why is it okay to do it to a person with an illness or disability?
I also found the dismissal of the user who originally expressed their apprehension regarding the photoset very unsettling. In terms of triggers, they seem to be assuming that the person who reblogged it was exaggerating somehow. That’s an awful assumption to make, and a dangerous one. Unless you know them personally and know that they weren’t physically made upset by this, you have no right to dismiss their reactions, nor do you have the right to label that as a victim mentality. They also seemed to be under the impression that people who are legitimately triggered can somehow will themselves to overcome it. Some people are able to overcome their triggers, this is true. Others have to live with them. And it isn’t up to you or me or anyone else on Tumblr or elsewhere to decide which people fit which description.
I think what bothers me the most is this idea that people should just ‘get over it’, when a physical disability is something that people often times can’t ‘get over’. Captain America ‘got over’ his physical imperfections and weaknesses with the help of a miracle cure. For many people there is no miracle cure. Cap triumphs in the end and can wave his superiority in the face of those who looked down on him, but what of those who will not ever have that opportunity?
I’ve lost a great deal of respect for the people who made those comments. The comments reeked of self-congratulation and left a terrible taste in my mouth. It’s great that so many people weren’t offended by the images and words, but it’s disturbing to me that some people couldn’t seem to understand why others were offended and felt the need to lump people who were offended into the SJ bubble. This ‘get over it’ attitude is really appalling, and I was shocked to see it coming from people I respect within the Marvel fandom.
That’s all I really wanted to say. Thanks for reading and enjoy your morning.

Completely Rational fears about baby Steve Rogers
… This is the greatest thing. The greatest.
I think of this whenever I watch the movie.
Steve honey, just sit in this chair and don’t move. Don’t even scratch your nose.
I love that he has basically every single condition ever.
MY POOR SICKLY BABY
get back on my blog.
He is just simply the cutest boy I have ever seen! instantly fell in love with that little bebi!
Aw
Apparently the only parts of him that actually work are his balls of steel.
<3
sorry to make things awkward for everyone but i actually hate this photoset
It’s pretty ableist and triggering for me. It reminds me of how, my whole life, people have been patronizing me and telling i’m not strong enough to try and do the (physical) things I want to do despite my disability. Part of why I love Steve Rogers so much is that he tries anyway and ignores all the people telling him to quit and to see fandom take that and infantilize him is… frustrating. At best.
I just thought I should say something. I’m not judging anyone for posting this, honestly, I don’t think anyone’s trying to be hurtful here. Just asking everyone to think before they make jokes about how poor weak Steve can’t do anything because omg he’ll break poor baby!!! Okay?
I’ll stop harshing everyone’s squee now.
I usually don’t get involved in this sort of thing, but I completely agree. This isn’t a trigger for me, but having grown up in a household with someone who is physically disabled, it’s always upset me to hear these sorts of comments being tossed around. Patronization isn’t funny. I hate to be that guy, but I want to go on record as saying I don’t find this amusing.
And now back to your regularly scheduled reblogs.

Clint: Oh, uh, ‘Tasha, I don’t think you’ve met the Mockingbird. She and I… that is… you see…
Bobbi: “Married” is the word he’s searching for.
Natasha: Really? Congratulations. It’s always a pleasure to meet a woman as brave as you must be!
Bobbi: The pleasure’s mine, Natasha!
Clint: Whew! They’re hitting it off.
Hello, Tumblr! I am reposting this scene because I’ve been about yonder tags and have seen more than one post framing Bobbi as the challenger to the Completely Inevitable Movieverse Love of Clint and Natasha. Even though Clint and Natasha haven’t said one thing in the Avengers footage that we’ve seen, much less to each other, we must remember that perhaps their love is not as ~destined~ as it seems for lo, Barbara Morse!!
But the thing is, neither of these ladies were conceived of as Hawkeye’s +1, and both have, I’d like to think, ultimate destinies beyond Clint Barton, as neither are currently dating him. We needn’t pit them against each other, and I promise you can talk about how you like Bobbi or Natasha without bringing some other pairing into it. I’d love that because I totally want to read Mockingbird appreciation that isn’t full of “I really dislike Black Widow” mini-commentary. (Or vice-versa, because I’ve seen that too.) And I hate to throw two ladies into competition who don’t see themselves that way. And that is a huge part of why I love both of them. ♥

Don’t believe this. My son is four and has curly hair. No way- he’s no where close to puberty. Ha! Claim dismissed.
Sounds like your son is displaying early signs of puberty, he should begin menstruating by the time he’s 7 and you’ll be lucky if he isn’t pregnant by 9.
Whoever came up with this is an idiot and obviously has nothing better to do. Here’s a hint… GET A LIFE. No one cares to get put down by dumb asses like you anyways.
